The word “Reiki” combines two Japanese terms: “Rei,” meaning universal, and “Ki,” meaning life energy. Practitioners use gentle touch or hover their hands above the body to channel this universal energy to the recipient. By doing so, Reiki aims to remove energy blockages, restore harmony, and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
